Extended Range Nitrox
DaivoonTec, Lanzarote
Lanzarote is great to start your Tec journey. We have great sheltered bays for skill development sessions and amazing shore dives getting you to depth quickly. Come and see for yourself!
Start your journey: Entry level tec courses
Push your no-decompression limits and take your diving deeper—safely.
Extended Range Nitrox is your gateway into the world of technical diving. This course teaches you how to plan and execute dives up to 40 meters using enriched air nitrox and technical-grade equipment with precision and control. You’ll refine your buoyancy, trim, and team diving skills while gaining confidence with twinsets or sidemount configurations.
Perfect for divers who want more time, more depth, and more capability—without jumping straight into full decompression diving.
Twinset
Twinsets are the traditional backbone of technical diving. With two back-mounted cylinders and a manifold system, they offer a symmetrical, solid setup that keeps your trim stable, offers unparalled balance and gas management straightforward.
Perfect for divers who prefer a single unit on their back and want seamless access to both tanks through the manifold. Also has less of a learning curve from traditional single tank recreational diving.

Sidemount
Sidemount offers a more flexible and modular approach—cylinders are mounted on your sides, reducing strain on your back and allowing easier access to valves and hoses.
It’s ideal for tight spaces, like caves or confined wrecks, but is becoming more popular in Open water aswell. However Sidemount requires prior knowledge and certification for the XR Nitrox course. If you don’t have a Sidemount certification an Extended Range Sidemount course is the perfect start!

Limits:
- Max Depth: 40 meters
- Decompression: Up to 15 minutes of accalerated decompression
